Too much for what you get, smells really bad.
Location
They still have carpet in the room, and smells really bad. They change our rooms, but still second option was bad. I would stay in a more traditional downtown place, most of them for half the price, but this one had a great location to avoid downtown traffic.

After the good experience we had at the Fiesta Inn at...
After the good experience we had at the Fiesta Inn at Chetumal, and another one on a precious holiday, we decided to try and book some more Fiesta Inn hotels during our travel in Mexico. What a nightmare it turned out to be. We made our booking through Booking.com for a room with breakfast and received a confirmation of this by email. When we got to the hotel they told us that the price didn’t not include breakfast. I told them that it was confirmed that it was and they would look into it. Later that day the boy at reception told us it was sorted and that we had breakfast included. So it surprised us the next morning when they told us in the restaurant that breakfast was not included, but they could give us a discount. Again we went to reception and after a long discussion I forwarded them the email of the confirmation. Again they told us not to worry and that it was sorted. I wrote an email to Booking.com and they also confirmed that they had been in touch with the hotel and we would not have any more hassle. When we went to check out on our last morning we were to find out that they tried to charge us the breakfasts for 3 days. After a long discussion and after they had brought the manager in we managed to arrange it. They were trying to blame us for making the booking through Booking.com and not directly at the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel was not half as good as the other Fiesta Inn Chetumal. The place was further from the centre of town then we thought it would be.
